Keita shows his worth on debut as Udinese comes from behind to beat Parma
Late red card for Keita Balde
Keita Balde showed his quality on his debut as Udinese came from behind to beat Parma 3-2 in Serie A on Saturday, but the joy of victory was tempered by a late red card for the on-loan Monaco forward.
Keita joined Udinese on a season-long loan on Thursday and he wasted no time in making an impact, scoring a stunning 20-yarder to draw his new side level after 26 minutes, after Andreas Cornelius had put Parma ahead.
Morten Hjulmand put Udinese ahead shortly after the hour mark and Lazar Samardzic netted a third after Nahuel Molina was sent off for Parma.
Keita's decisive contribution
Keita, who spent last season on loan at Cagliari, showed his quality with a stunning goal to level the scores.
The winger picked the ball up on the left-hand side and drove forward, before unleashing a powerful shot that flew into the top corner.
Bright start for Udinese
Udinese had started the game brightly and Keita's goal gave them the belief that they could get something from the match.
The hosts continued to press and were rewarded when Hjulmand headed home from a corner.
Parma's fightback
Parma showed great character to fight back and almost snatched a point when Juraj Kucka pulled a goal back in the 89th minute.
However, Udinese held on for the win and moved up to seventh in the Serie A standings, while Parma dropped to 19th.
