Rome, Italy - The Board of Directors of Enel Spa has approved the 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, which includes a fixed dividend per share of 0.43 euros for 2023 and all subsequent years of the plan. This represents an increase from the previous interim dividend of 0.215 euros per share, which was paid in January 2024.
The dividend payment for 2023 is scheduled to be made on January 24th, 2024, with an ex-dividend date of January 22nd, 2024. The dividend yield based on the current share price of 6.44 euros as of August 12th, 2024, is approximately 6.75%.
In addition to the fixed dividend, Enel has a history of paying additional dividends based on its financial performance. In 2023, Enel paid a total dividend of 0.43 euros per share, including the interim dividend and a final dividend of 0.215 euros per share.
