Early Life and Basketball Career
Nerlens Noel was born on April 10, 1994, in Everett, Massachusetts. He attended Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire, where he became a renowned basketball prospect. Noel was selected in the first round with the sixth overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He missed his first season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) but made his NBA debut in 2014–15. Noel played for several teams throughout his career, including the Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and New York Knicks.In 2022, Noel signed a contract with the Sacramento Kings. He has appeared in 11 games for the Kings during the 2022–23 season, averaging 3.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
